Job Summary
Adult Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) responsible for providing respiratory care to neonatal through geriatric patients, including oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support. Performs ABG analysis, monitors patient status, educates patients and staff, and participates in policy-driven care. Requires Associate's Degree (Bachelor's preferred), current state license, NBRC RRT, and BLS; ACLS within 90 days of hire. Flexible 24/7 schedule with sign-on bonus; onsite patient-care environment at Ochsner Health.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Current Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- BLS from American Heart Association
- ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
