Job Summary
Speech Pathologist (SLP) in inpatient rehabilitation (PRN) with Encompass Health. Responsible for evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering individualized speech and language treatment plans; identifying issues and modifying therapy as needed; tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; delivering compassionate care within a national rehabilitation leader. Requires current state licensure or certification, CCC-SLP, and CPR (within 30 days of hire); Master’s degree preferred (or Bachelor’s with field experience). Location: Navasota, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification for SLP as mandated by state regulations
- Successful completion of the ASHA-certified CCC-SLP or equivalent
- PRN/part-time clinical schedule in inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- CCC-SLP certification
- Current state licensure/certification for SLP
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
