Job Summary
Speech Pathologist role providing patient-centered rehabilitation for speech and language disorders in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans; identifying issues and modifying treatment as needed; tracking and documenting patient performance and progress; celebrating patient victories while supporting tissue through technology and teamwork at Encompass Health, the nation’s largest rehabilitation company.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
