Job Summary
Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatments to clinic clients at Legacy Community Health’s FQHC system. Deliver remote consultations beyond regular clinic hours as part of a seamless patient support network. Lead development and standardization of clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols; mentor students in clinical settings; ensure robust clinical quality assurance; collaborate with non-physician providers; drive preventive strategies including family planning and other preventive services; contribute to performance improvement initiatives and data-driven insights. Schedule is Monday–Friday (8AM–4PM or 4x10 shifts) with Hybrid work arrangement; work within a digitally integrated, agile clinical environment to advance community mental health.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctor with Board certification (or Board-eligibility) in Psychiatry
- Current Texas License
- Commitment to Code of Ethics
- Continuing education for license maintenance
- Exemplary standing with professional licensing boards
- Participation in Medicare/Medicaid and other reimbursement programs
