Job Summary
Adult Protective Services Specialist conducts investigations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable Oklahoma adults, determines capacity, provides voluntary or involuntary services, coordinates service plans, prepares legal forms, attends court hearings, and provides testimony. Roles include level I entry activities and level II advanced investigations, with extensive travel, driving requirements, on-call hours, and collaboration with internal/external partners to ensure protective services and safe outcomes for adults. Responsibilities span investigation of referrals, case management, service planning, court preparation and testimony, and ongoing training and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field for Level I
- Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree plus one year of experience for Level II
- valid driver's license
