Job Summary
Provide comprehensive primary care in transplant care, including health education, preventive medicine, communicable diseases, and education. Conduct necessary examinations, assessments, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under nursing administration and clinical collaboration with a physician. Offer instructional guidance to nursing and other health care professionals in the area of expertise. Maintain current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with prescription writing privileges issued by the New York State Education Department.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license and current registration as a Registered Professional Nurse issued by the New York State Education Department
- Two years of professional nursing experience
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with prescription writing privileges issued by the New York State Education Department
