Adult Mental Health Nurse - RN

RN coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care per department requirements and standards of practice. In collaboration with medical providers and the care team, the RN uses established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage, advocates for patients/families, and supports organizational goals. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition at admission and during shifts, performing procedures and documenting care in the medical record, responding promptly to patient requests, coordinating a holistic treatment plan with a multidisciplinary team, and serving as the interface between healthcare providers and community support systems for ongoing care. Qualifications include Basic Cardiac Life Support and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within specified timeframes.
