Job Summary
The Adult Mental Health Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing clinical staff within the Adult Mental Health Program, providing clinical supervision of therapists and other direct service staff to ensure high-quality, culturally responsive care, particularly for Native American and Alaska Native communities. Responsibilities include supervising day-to-day activities, delivering clinical services, participating in quality assurance activities, and providing training for clinical staff. A Master's degree in a relevant field, licensure as a Mental Health Professional in Oregon, and completion of clinical supervision training are required. Previous supervisory experience and strong communication skills are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Licensed as a Mental Health Professional in the State of Oregon (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist)
- Meets requirements as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) per Oregon Administrative Rules
- Must meet Oregon Administrative Rule requirements to provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinicians working toward licensure
- Completion of required 30-hour clinical supervision training in Oregon
- Must successfully pass the applicable Oregon licensing Board’s Law and Rules exam
- Completion of ongoing continuing education related to clinical supervision
- Must pass a pre-employment or for-cause drug tests
- Must pass criminal background and DMV checks
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) in Oregon preferred
- Previous clinical supervision experience, including supervision of pre-licensed clinicians preferred
- Experience working within the Native American/Alaska Native community is considered a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse populations.
Additional Requirements

- Employees must model alcohol sobriety and agree to comply with the sobriety policy.
- Experience working with Native American/ Alaska Native community is considered a plus.
