Job Summary
Deliver clinical services and community supports to persons with severe and persistent mental illness under the Center Manager. Responsibilities include assisting consumers in making informed choices and educating them on community resources, scheduling assessments and updating treatment plans, providing face-to-face assessment and crisis intervention services (including on-call after hours), and supporting fellow staff. Requires knowledge of assessment, diagnostics, treatment planning, and community support services for children, adults, and geriatrics with mental illness, familiarity with psychotherapeutic medications and basic casework. Emphasizes trauma-informed practices, cultural sensitivity, and safe, respectful service delivery. Reassignment may occur at employer discretion; hours/location may change based on program needs. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive Center vehicles required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in social/behavioral/human services; licensure not required. Skills include strong written/spoken communication, professional documentation, collaboration with consumers, families, agencies and the public, and proficiency in office software and care-management systems.
