Job Summary
Implement the college's philosophy and curriculum objectives through onsite clinical teaching and direct supervision of nursing students in acute and chronic care settings. Plan clinical experiences, provide documented feedback on student performance, and offer remediation as required while maintaining current knowledge of agency policies. Develop written clinical assignments, grade homework and tests, and report student or agency issues to the course coordinator. May teach didactic content under supervision and orient students to clinical expectations.
Required Qualifications
- A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
- An unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Florida
- At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
- Illinois RN License
