Job Summary
Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care in an outpatient multi-specialty practice in Queens, NY. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical examinations, recording/analyzing medical histories and symptoms, developing and implementing individualized care plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing treatments, monitoring medical equipment, coordinating with physicians and specialists, educating patients and families on prevention, treatments, and lifestyle modifications, and maintaining thorough documentation in electronic medical records.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license (Board Certified)
- 1 year of experience preferred but open to new grads
- Bilingual in Bengali or experience supporting Bengali-speaking communities
- Proficient in physical examinations, diagnostic testing, prescribing medications, and electronic health records
