Job Summary
Perform electroneurodiagnostic and physiologic procedures, analyze data from these procedures, and provide technical documentation for diagnosing brain disorders. Review, evaluate, map, and classify impressions of ictal, interictal, and paroxysmal events from EEG, physiologic, and video data. Write technical reports detailing patient history, EEG patterns, seizure semiology, radiologic findings, and mapping of abnormalities. Create permanent video and/or file clips of mapped interictal and ictal patterns for physician review and archiving. This role supports Butterworth, Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, Blodgett, 25 Michigan, and 35 Michigan within the Neurodiagnostic team at Corewell Health.
Required Qualifications
- Preferred Associate's Degree in related field
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in related field
- graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program
- 5 years of relevant experience
- 5 years of neurodiagnostic experience (preferably in LTME/critical care EEG)
- after obtaining ABRET registration in Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG.T)
- Upon Hire required CRT-Electroencephalographic Technologist, Registered (R.EEG.T) - ABRET American Board of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologist
- Required CRT-Long Term Monitoring Technologist, Certified (CLTM) - ABRET American Board of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologist within 1 year of hire
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
