Job Summary
Adult Education Training Specialist & Instructor responsible for guiding participants from inquiry through enrollment, training, certifications, employment placement, and follow-up. Duties include recruiting and supporting students, coordinating training programs with SBCSC and third-party providers, teaching adult learners when needed, managing enrollment, documentation, scheduling, and reporting, tracking outcomes and certifications, and engaging employers and community partners to identify workforce needs and upskill incumbent workers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Ability to teach adult learners in a supportive and engaging environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with students, employers, community partners, and stakeholders
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and database management systems
- Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and adapt to changing priorities
