Job Summary
Provide Adult Basic Education instruction at Anoka Ramsey Community College while collaborating with educators across the Central Minnesota ABE-East consortium. Plan and deliver learner-centered instruction, develop individualized learning plans and goals, and maintain accurate student records and participation data in the Student Information Database. Foster an inclusive and respectful learning environment while staying current on GED testing policies and requirements. The role involves an average of 4 hours per week with year-round flexibility based on supervisor approval.
Required Qualifications
- State of Minnesota Teaching License K-12
- Successful background check
- Thorough knowledge of subjects taught (Math, Science, Social Studies, and Reading)
- Thorough knowledge of principles of adult education and effective teaching
