Job Summary
Part-time Hybrid Program Coordinator for Ve'ahavta's Skills Academy in Toronto. Facilitates virtual classroom engagement, supports participants from enrollment to graduation, coordinates program activities and events, maintains participant records, and assists with recruitment and supervision of volunteer workshop facilitators. Requires post-secondary education in a relevant field and 1–2 years of experience with vulnerable or marginalized populations; strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; comfort with online learning platforms and virtual meeting tools; and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach. Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Social Services, Social Sciences, Adult Education, Community Development, or a related field
- 1–2 years (minimum) of experience working with vulnerable or marginalized populations
- Experience facilitating groups, workshops, or adult learning environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy, patience, and sound judgment
- Comfort learning and using technology, online learning platforms, and virtual meeting tools
- A proactive, flexible, and solutions-oriented approach
- Experience with Zoom, online learning platforms, databases, or project management systems
- Experience coordinating volunteers
- Experience in employment, workforce development, community services, or nonprofit settings
