Adult Education- Pathway to Options Specialist

Job Summary
Maintain accurate records and documentation of students for evaluation purposes while monitoring progress toward career and technical education goals. Increase recruitment and retention of adult learners by designing eligibility criteria, attendance requirements, and enrollment strategies. Collaborate with Adult Education staff, Workforce Development agencies, and employers to develop educational programs tailored to personal and employment needs. Facilitate a learning environment fostering social and academic experiences related to language proficiency, workforce skills, and acculturation. Identify barriers for participants and work with community entities to address them, ensuring success in postsecondary education or employment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or related field
- Successful employment experience with Adult Education and English Learners
- Successful experience and knowledge of Integrated Education and Training and Workforce Development
- Demonstrated ability to work with students from a variety of culture and linguistic backgrounds, age, and language/academic proficiency levels
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively with community agencies, educational institutions, employers, district administration and staff as well as other populations under appropriate supervision
- Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment with a high degree of flexibility
- Demonstrated ability to maintain standards of professional conduct and work ethics including attendance, punctuality and performance
