Job Summary
Teach High School Equivalency (HSE) to adult learners in South Bend, delivering instruction aligned with Indiana Adult Education standards. Plan and deliver engaging lessons for diverse classrooms, assess student progress, maintain attendance and testing records, manage data/documentation accurately, utilize instructional technology, provide individualized support, foster an inclusive classroom, and collaborate with staff and partners to support student success. Participate in program meetings and professional development to support workforce readiness and student outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Ability to teach adult learners in a supportive and engaging manner
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with basic technology and instructional software
- Ability to work both morning and evening schedules as assigned
- Indiana Teaching License or Adult Education teaching experience (preferred)
- Experience teaching High School Equivalency or related programs (preferred)
