Job Summary
Plan and deliver TABE-aligned curriculum while facilitating student participation and mastery. Collaborate with paraprofessionals to meet individual needs, prepare daily agendas, and engage students through large group discussions, cooperative learning, and independent study. Monitor attendance, track progress against DRC score reports, and provide targeted independent work to address specific proficiencies. Prepare accommodations for IEPs and 504s, review Adult Learning Plans quarterly, and capture distance learning hours to ensure 60% engagement. Maintain a positive classroom culture by informing students of emergency procedures and advocating for necessary testing accommodations.
Required Qualifications

- Competency on online learning platforms
- Ability to prepare accommodations for students per IEP, 504, or doctor's recommendations
- Ability to provide advance notice to testing team of needs
- Ability to track and teach lessons that directly align to TABE Standards
- Ability to incorporate College and Career Readiness Skills
- Ability to review targeted skills from the DRC score report
- Ability to provide targeted independent work (Essential Education/Burlington/USALearns/GED Flash)
- Ability to consider social emotional learning and test anxiety needs
- Ability to use Life Coaches and relaxation station
- Ability to review each student's Adult Learning Plan (ALP)
- Ability to update ALP quarterly with progress notes in compliance with DWD's ALP requirements
- Ability to review weekly data outcomes with Coordinators
- Ability to advocate to make sure all accommodations are in place in the classroom and testing
- Ability to monitor daily attendance to ensure student clocks in, clocks out with accurate time
- Ability to report Distance Learning hours from paper assignments if necessary
- Ability to respond by the next class session to data inquiries
