Adult Day Services (ADS) Director

Adult Day Services (ADS) Director is a hands-on, working manager who leads daily activities and participates in direct service delivery while overseeing program operations, staff, and regulatory compliance. The role includes leading cognitive, social, physical, and recreational programming; assisting with activities of daily living; meal service oversight; participant engagement and family communication; development of activities calendars; volunteer recruitment and supervision; intake, care-planning participation, and collaboration with the ADS Nurse and interdisciplinary team. Requires a bachelor’s degree in health or human services, or an RN credential, or two years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in elder services. Strong communication, organizational, and dementia-care knowledge are essential; proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to design engaging programs for diverse participants are desired. Must be on duty full time when participants are present and maintain compliance with ADA and IDoA/Community Care Program requirements.
