Job Summary
Lead Community Support staff through weekly clinical oversight, documentation reviews, and quarterly quality improvement reviews. Coordinate program assignments, transitions, and discharges in AVATAR while ensuring compliance with DMH and CMS guidelines. Manage hiring, training, and annual performance reviews for direct reports, alongside maintaining a caseload with strict productivity targets. Serve as a clinical resource for staff during crisis situations and provide ongoing education on motivational interviewing strategies. Complete clinical documentation within 72 hours of service and maintain required certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Active driver's license and minimum state-required auto-insurance
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- 3 years minimum position-specific experience
- Prior mental health and/or substance use knowledge
- Strong knowledge of clinical best practices in behavioral health
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to travel locally as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years position-specific experience preferred
- Prior healthcare technology software experience preferred
