Job Summary
Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6) based in London (Ealing) delivering SLT services across outpatient clinics, clients’ homes, and care homes. Autonomously assess, diagnose, and manage adults with communication and/or swallowing disorders, including stroke/neurological conditions; provide interventions across multiple settings; maintain clinical records; work within a MDT; role encompasses hospital outpatient site and community settings with flexible full- or part-time hours.
Required Qualifications
- A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent)
- HCPC registration and eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
- Experience working with adults with communication and/or swallowing disorders, including stroke and neurological conditions
- Strong clinical reasoning, organisational and communication skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
