Job Summary
Adult Career Advisor role focusing on counseling job seekers and career changers, developing individualized career plans, facilitating job readiness/workshops, providing motivational support, identifying training needs, maintaining case notes, and coordinating resources across workforce development programs. Responsibilities include advising participants, tracking participation, managing client relationships, maintaining documentation, producing run charts/proposals, and assisting in training team members. Requires knowledge of various job search strategies and strong communication, organization, and computer skills. Travel within Clark County and in-person work at Boulder City, NV and Henderson, NV locations; first shift with potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Art/Bachelor of Science in psychology, marketing, business, human resources or related fields with two plus years relevant work experience
- Experience working with career counseling consumers in a high volume work environment, particularly in a human services or workforce development
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
