Job Summary
Adult cardiac anesthesiologist needed for locum tenens coverage in Prescott, AZ. Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthesia care for adult cardiac surgical patients Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with no call requirements. Manage an average of 5 admissions per day with 1 inpatient and 1 ICU case across 6 operating rooms, 8 catheterization laboratories, and 28 ICU beds. Supervise CRNAs while delivering anesthesia for cardiac procedures. Requires fellowship training in cardiac anesthesiology and board certification in anesthesiology, with active Arizona or compact licensure. Utilizes Cerner EMR for patient documentation and clinical coordination.
Required Qualifications
- MD degree or equivalent medical degree
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology
- Fellowship training in cardiac anesthesiology
- Active Arizona or compact licensure
- Ability to provide comprehensive perioperative anesthesia care for adult cardiac patients
