Job Summary
Adult cardiac anesthesiologist needed for locum-tenens coverage in Arizona. Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthesia care for adult cardiac surgical patients Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with no call requirements. Manage an average of 5 admissions per day across 6 operating rooms, 8 catheterization laboratories, and 28 ICU beds, supervising CRNAs while delivering anesthesia for cardiac procedures. Cerner EMR used for documentation and coordination. Requires fellowship training in cardiac anesthesiology and board certification in anesthesiology. Location: Prescott, AZ (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship training in cardiac anesthesiology
- Board certification in anesthesiology
- Active Arizona or compact licensure
- Cerner EMR proficiency (documentation)
- Ability to provide comprehensive perioperative anesthesia care for adult cardiac surgical patients
- Locum Tenens experience (preferred)
