Job Summary
Provide face-to-face intervention with clients individually or in group settings to help them progress toward treatment goals. Teach social and interpersonal skills to increase community tenure, establish support networks, and develop coping strategies for functioning at home, work, and school. Maintain accurate weekly progress notes reflecting treatment plan goals and submit required reports and paperwork timely. Work in collaboration with the treatment team and family while keeping supervisors informed of unusual situations. Consistently maintain scheduled appointments and possess the ability to react in stressful situations. Engage in required training and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Must have the ability to communicate positively and effectively with others
- Must have the ability to work independently
- Must be a productive part of a team
- Must have a dependable vehicle
- Valid driver's license
- Must provide proof of insurance
- Must pass criminal background check to the satisfaction of SCMH
- Must pass driver's license check to the satisfaction of SCMH
