Job Summary
Manage the intake and admissions process for Adult Residential and Adult Day programs, including fielding calls, providing tours, assessing client needs, and coordinating staffing to fill vacancies with appropriately matched participants. Serve as the primary liaison between families, guardians, and program staff from referral through admission, while leading bi-weekly intake meetings and developing long-term placement plans. Maintain the referral database, attend resource fairs, and ensure compliance reporting to support program quality. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, two years of experience with developmental disabilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services related field
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability and confidence to give presentations to large groups
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, demonstrating advanced skills in creating spreadsheets, tables, formulas and queries
- Must be organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and follow through
- Must have working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities including diagnosis and supportive services
- Must maintain American Heart Association certification in First Aid and CPR, if required
- Corrected vision and hearing within normal range
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Ability to assist and support up to 25 pounds with varying amounts of assistance on a reoccurring basis
