ADT Supervisor (3472)

Job Summary

Oversee day-to-day operations of the Adult Day Training department, including planning, organizing, and supervising Career Navigator Specialists and Trainers. Manage staff through interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisals, and resolving complaints while ensuring accurate participant eligibility reviews. Conduct monthly case staffing to track progress on case plan goals and engage with program funders to meet programming requirements. Monitor billing authorizations, submit periodic reports, and ensure compliance with agency policies, accreditation standards, and safety procedures. Coordinate meetings for participant advancement and complete required training follow-ups and satisfaction surveys.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 6-8 years' experience in the Human Service field
  • Minimal 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience assessing work experience, educational attainment, transferable skills, aptitudes, abilities, needs, interests, readiness for employment, and barriers to employment
  • Strong counseling and coaching skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in human resources, human services, or job development
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Access to a reliable vehicle
  • Ability to operate a computer and MS Office software, including Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences, and communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
  • Demonstrates responsible behavior, initiative, effort, and commitment toward completing assignments efficiently

  • Experience providing ADT services to people with Developmental and Intellectual disabilities
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with community partners

  • Ability to attend required meetings
  • Good written and computer skills necessary to perform job duties
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures and correct safety issues, if possible
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Applying basic arithmetic calculations, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Maintains high standards of ethical conduct, exhibits honesty and integrity, and refrains from theft-related, dishonest, or unethical behavior
  • Prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, and develop realistic action plans

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience assessing work experience, educational attainment, transferable skills, aptitudes, abilities, needs, interests, readiness for employment, and barriers to employment is highly desired
  • Previous experience in human resources, human services, or job development is a plus
  • Spanish/ French-Creole is a plus, but not required
  • Experience providing ADT services to people with Developmental and Intellectual disabilities
