Job Summary
Adoptions Counselor at Maui Humane Society responsible for coordinating the seamless transition of animals from the shelter to their forever homes. Responsibilities include matchmaking shelter animals with homes, providing a positive community experience before, during, and after the adoption process, processing data and payments in shelter software, and providing follow-up support and resources to adopters. Requires strong customer service skills, comfort interacting with animals, and the ability to use multiple computer programs efficiently. Desired experience includes animal welfare and Shelter software familiarity (PetPoint preferred).
