Job Summary
Oversees Adoptions & Boutique operations, managing staff and volunteers within the Adoptions and Retail department to deliver excellent customer service, operate within budget guidelines, and drive better adoption outcomes. Leads program development, inventory management, vendor relationships, and data reporting; collaborates with Operations and Medical Management to achieve organizational goals. Responsible for recruitment, supervision, performance feedback, scheduling, and staff development; ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and records retention. Plays a key role in offsite partnerships, rabies tag program administration, and supporting high-volume adoptions activities and events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and two years’ experience in a management level position, supervising direct reports.
- Strong retail and merchandising experience.
- Working knowledge of Shelter Luv shelter database.
- Working knowledge of Point of Sale operating systems.
- Bilingual, a plus.
