Job Summary
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at Meadowbrook Respiratory & Nursing Center seeks an RN to lead and mentor nursing staff, partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, drive quality outcomes, participate in hiring/orientation/evaluations, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to promote positive resident outcomes. Responsibilities include clinical leadership across shifts, conducting clinical rounds, ensuring CMS and state compliance, participating in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives, and supporting infection prevention and other clinical operations.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Jersey RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey process
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Experience in subacute, respiratory, or ventilator care is a plus
