Job Summary
Oversee daily clinical operations in Assisted Living by supervising care staff for resident activities like bathing and health monitoring, while coaching and mentoring caregivers to ensure exceptional resident-centered care. Manage Resident Service Plans and collaborate with families and physicians to maintain outstanding outcomes, all while promoting a safe environment through infection control and life safety vigilance. Assist the Sales & Marketing Department in assessing prospects and support the Resident Care Director in maintaining department compliance with the operating budget. Participate in rotating weekend coverage as part of the leadership team.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida LPN license
- CPR/AED certification
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or geriatric experience
- Strong communication skills
- genuine passion for leading teams and serving seniors
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Licensed RN or LPN in good standing with the State Licensing Agency where the community is located
- Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening
- The Community is a drug free workplace
- Must be available for rotating weekend coverage
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in Geriatric, Long Term Care, or Assisted Living
- Assisted Living Training
- One (1) year supervisory experience
- Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems
