Job Summary
Assist the Director of Nursing with overall nursing services management, providing clinical leadership to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Monitor resident care quality, review clinical documentation, and support admissions, discharges, and transfers while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Manage staffing and scheduling, lead staff education and performance management, and respond to operational issues. Participate in rotating weekend on-call and be available for regulatory surveys, inspections, and emergencies. This full-time role at Crystal Lake Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Bayville, NJ, supports quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary communication.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN license
- RN experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lead, support, and motivate nursing staff
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Must be dependable and available to support the facility when needed
- Rotating weekend on-call schedule
- Availability at all hours for regulatory surveys, inspections, emergencies, or significant facility issues
Desired Qualifications
