Job Summary
Plan and coordinate clinical Substance Abuse/Mental Health services for adolescents; conduct admissions and biopsychosocial assessments; develop Wellness and Recovery Plans in collaboration with consumers; provide individual and group therapy; supervise staff; ensure documentation to meet licensing, Medicaid, and Joint Commission standards; administer verbal reprimands and learning experiences; participate in discharge planning; prepare monthly progress notes and reports for courts and agencies; provide referral/linkage to ancillary services; in-home/on-site therapy; staff development and training; supervise primary therapists for intakes; coordinate performance improvement activities; maintain relationships with referring agencies and represent the agency at community meetings; ensure HIPAA, ethics, confidentiality; embrace mission and goals; perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- CAP or MCAP certification preferred
- LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT licensure required
- Master's degree in Addiction Counseling, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or related field
- Two years of supervised experience in providing individual/family therapy preferred
- Bilingual preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Familiarity with Miami-Dade County
