Job Summary
Adobe Technical Lead responsible for crafting, developing, and maintaining Adobe solutions to support secure, high-performing digital experiences. Lead development of AEM components, templates, workflows, configurations, and customizations; ensure alignment with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements for financial services websites, including WCAG compliance. Regularly evaluate website health, environment strategy, and platform security; provide strategic mentorship on website modernization and collaborate across teams to drive scalable, reliable platform solutions. Strong Java development expertise and experience in Agile environments; mentor team members, conduct technical reviews, support release management, and ensure alignment to architectural guardrails. Thought leadership on modernization initiatives and future-state capabilities. Allocation of time: 40% Project Oversight, 30% Business Relationship Management, 30% creating custom solutions, prototypes, and system designs/architecture. Required hands-on experience with AEM components, JCR, Figma, RESTful services; proficiency in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery; familiarity with Apache, app server logs, and web infrastructure; experience with Jira/Azure DevOps; knowledge of integrating AEM with other Adobe products andWCAG/ADA considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven practical experience with Adobe Experience Manager or similar tools
- Experience leading engineering teams
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery
- Experience building AEM components, templates, workflows, publishing, configurations & customizations
- Knowledge of RESTful web services
- Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps
- Understanding of security, privacy, and governing regulations for financial services websites
- WCAG compliance for ADA
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills
- Experience in Agile Scrum delivery environments
- Proactive ownership and accountability
- Ability to produce architecture diagrams, ERDs, and integration flows
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular, React, Bootstrap
- Knowledge of integrating AEM with other Adobe products (Marketo, Target, AEP, CJA or RTCDP)
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues
