ADMS Test Lead

Job Summary
Own and evolve the overall program testing strategy, establishing test plans, quality objectives, and acceptance criteria across functional, automated, integration, and performance phases. Lead end-to-end testing activities by coordinating with program leadership, application teams, developers, vendors, and specialized functions to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle. Provide regular visibility into testing progress, risks, metrics, and deliverables while managing workstream ownership and resource capacity across internal and external teams. Evaluate the application lifecycle to identify opportunities for test automation, service virtualization, and performance engineering, partnering with engineers to enhance coverage and maintain artifacts. Establish and monitor environment requirements, resolving infrastructure gaps and dependencies before testing begins to prevent delays. Coach application-level QA teams on enterprise testing practices and standards while recommending improvements to processes and tools based on measurable business outcomes. Work in a hybrid environment with flexibility to transition to more frequent onsite schedules when project needs require.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of overall QA/testing experience
- significant experience in test leadership roles
- 10+ years of utility industry experience
- demonstrated leadership of testing programs involving ADMS, OMS, DMS, SCADA, or related utility platforms
- Proven experience leading testing for large-scale system integration and enterprise application implementations
- Strong understanding of enterprise testing methodologies, frameworks, tools, and quality governance
- Hands-on experience with test automation
- ability to work effectively with automation engineering teams
- Strong programming or scripting capabilities in at least one language
- experience with TypeScript, Java, or Python
- Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools
- experience with NeoLoad and/or JMeter
- Experience with automation frameworks/tools such as Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, and/or TestComplete
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
- GitLab CI experience
- Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Demonstrated project management, prioritization, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Experience coordinating complex testing activities across multiple teams, workstreams, and vendors
- Ability to translate enterprise testing standards into practical approaches that support project delivery
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment
- established onsite schedule based on team and program requirements
- Flexibility to transition to a more frequent or full-time onsite schedule
- Willingness to work additional hours when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Emerson ADMS or comparable utility ADMS platforms
- Experience establishing testing strategies for highly integrated utility applications
- Background in test virtualization and environment/service dependency management
- Experience implementing measurable improvements in automation coverage, defect detection, performance, and overall testing efficiency
- Experience working within large enterprise Testing Centers of Excellence or Testing Enablement organizations
