Job Summary
The Admixture Tech II prepares sterile and non-sterile medications, reviews medication orders, performs precise drug measurements, and maintains strict aseptic technique with PPE. Responsibilities include inventory management, ordering, documentation, compliance with USP <797>/<800>, OSHA, and environmental regulations; collaborates with Pharmacy Operations and other departments to ensure uninterrupted patient care; willingness to travel 75-100% for clinic needs; requires strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site oncology setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Professional pharmacy technician certification (or equivalent); preferably CPhT from PTCB
- Minimum of one year experience as a pharmacy or admixture technician; IV sterile admixture experience preferred
