Job Summary

Coordinate event logistics and guest services for Open House and Student Visit Days, including week-of preparation, on-site setup, registration management, and campus cleanup. Manage acceptance box assembly and merchandise placement during December events. Execute confirmation calls, maintain guest lists, and create nametags while ensuring timely communication with parents within 24 hours. Serve as event owner or support for Coffee and Conversation events, collaborating with faculty and staff to advance the school's mission. Respond to inquiries promptly and uphold professional standards throughout the September through December 2026 temporary schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A sincere enjoyment of working with teenagers
  • Exceptionally capable in both written and oral communication
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills
  • Technologically savvy
  • Proven success at working collaboratively with colleagues
  • Passionate about the chosen field of study and the mission of Pacifica
  • Must be able to work from September, 2026 - December, 2026
  • Must be able to work 2-4 hrs/day for approximately 10 hours during week-of prep
  • Must be able to work 10:30 AM - 5 PM on September 26
  • Must be able to work 10:30 AM - 5 PM on November 9
  • Must be able to work 8 AM - 11:30 AM on 10/5, 10/19, 11/2, 11/16, 12/7
  • Must be able to respond to messages within 24 hours
  • Must be able to arrive on-time, be well-prepared, and act professionally
  • Must be able to hold self directly accountable to their direct report and to the departments they serve
  • Must be able to ultimately report to the Head of School
  • Must be able to serve as event owner or event support for Open House, Student Visit Days, and Coffee and Conversation Events
  • Must be able to lead or participate in teams and/or committees
