Job Summary
Process undergraduate applications, transcripts, test scores, and supporting documentation to determine admissions eligibility and support issuance of decisions. Review high school and college transcripts to code coursework, correct data discrepancies in error reports, and prepare appeals for the Undergraduate Admissions Committee. Serve as a departmental resource for admissions staff regarding CRM, SIS, imaging, and workflow systems; troubleshoot routine processing issues, test system updates, and escalate technical problems. Provide training and front-line support to users on established system processes, maintain documentation, and assist with residency and compliance requirements. Monitor workflows to ensure timely completion of admissions records and support recruitment and retention activities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related field
- Five (5) years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related work experience
- Master's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related work experience
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users verbally, in writing, and in training presentations to groups or individuals
- Experience in data compilation and analysis
- Experience in a higher education setting
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
- Experience working with Banner, Laserfiche, and Argos
- Experience working in higher education, admissions, supporting admissions processes, and enrollment operations
- Experience working with CRM systems, including a background in designing and implementing complex workflows and reporting solutions
