Admissions Social Worker - Evenings

Respond to inquiries about the facility within policy timeframes and develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families. Perform benefit eligibility checks to ensure active coverage, coordinate admissions and transfers, and schedule pre-admission assessments with the admitting physician. Admit patients to registration systems, complete consent forms, and conduct safety checks with supervision at 15-minute intervals. Maintain medical record documentation for payor authorization and resolve patient complaints while prioritizing safety. This full-time evening role (3-11 p.m.) requires a Master's degree in social services or nursing, current licensure, and CPR/de-escalation certification at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Behavioral Health Hospital.
