Job Summary
Conduct Durable Medical Equipment (DME) intake through the Brightree database and coordinate new product requests. Obtain patient referrals, supporting documentation, and insurance authorization information while completing data entry for benefits and supply orders. Process prescriber and customer orders to determine items for movement, gather, or distribute, and coordinate evening deliveries. Maintain ongoing patient and prescriber information, prepare paperwork for billing, and address billing or service complaints. Support evening and Saturday on-call staff as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or 1-6 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Exceptionally organized, multi-tasking, problem solving and communication and strong keyboard skills
- A high level of initiative combined with a customer service mentality

- Durable medical equipment (DME) intake/ admissions experience
- Experience in Brightree EHR
