Admissions Registrar- Patient Access- Part time Evenings

Register patients at urgent cares and emergency rooms, verify demographics and insurance, and gather, document, and provide information on federal mandates including Patient Rights and Responsibilities. Obtain consents, assignment of benefits, and releases while practicing safe patient transport and initiating inquiries for pre-certification and pre-authorization. Receive and provide shift reports at the beginning and end of shifts, interact with physicians and staff, and respond to frequent interruptions or unexpected situations. Work consistently to demonstrate the organization's mission and values during periods of heavy workload or stress.
