Required Qualifications

• •Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• •Current Tennessee RN license in good standing
• •Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience
• •One (1) year medical/surgical nursing experience
• •CPI certification
• •First Aid/CPR certification
• •Automatic external defibrillation certification
• •Eligibility for automatic external defibrillation certification
• •Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• •Ability to quickly learn and use various clinical software
• •Ability to problem-solve, analyze, and interpret information
• •Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and patient needs in a fast-paced environment
• •Ability to analyze complex situations and make crucial decisions while also knowing when consultation is needed

• •Ability to react productively to change
• •Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and patient information

• •Ability to direct interventions until senior nursing management, physicians, or paramedics arrive

• •Ability to triage rehabilitation patients
• •Ability to treat and refer according to physician's orders and established policies and procedures
• •Ability to interpret, transcribe, implement or supervise implementation of physician's orders according to established policies and procedures
• •Ability to review admission chemical dependency assessments
• •Ability to complete nursing assessments and care plans on admissions
• •Ability to investigate any indicated medical/psychiatric problems noted with the established time frames
• •Ability to assess plans, implement/supervise and evaluate the care of detoxification patients based on initial chemical dependency and nursing assessments, as well as pertinent clinical findings
• •Ability to oversee the work of LPNs and medical/clinical assistants as assigned
• •Ability to supervise other RN and LPN staff members and medical assistants on assigned shift
• •Ability to consult with the ADON/DON as needed
• •Ability to work in a rehabilitation setting
• •Ability to walk outside to various buildings
• •Ability to take normal safety precautions
• •Ability to have frequent contact with chemically impaired persons in crisis
• •Ability to work with those who are emotionally volatile
• •Ability to take additional safety precautions
• •Ability to work varying shifts
• •Ability to work weekends
• •Ability to stay overnight for inclement weather as part of critical staffing
