Job Summary
Admissions Registered Nurse role responsible for delivering and documenting skilled nursing care per care plan and physician orders; continuously observes and assesses patient condition, coordinates care, updates nursing care plans, takes appropriate actions, and ensures infection control per OSHA standards. Responsibilities include educating patients and families, maintaining nursing competencies, and complying with Aveanna policies and applicable regulations. Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, serving Manchester area (Shelby and Chilton territories). Requires active RN license in the state of application and CPR certification. Medicare Skilled Nursing experience and Hospice knowledge are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- An active RN License in the state of application
- Valid CPR
- 1-year RN experience in a health care setting
- Medicare Skilled Nursing experience (preferred)
- Basic understanding of Hospice (preferred)
