Job Summary
Review and revise reports and documents for accuracy and completeness. Enter new students into admissions or enrollment records, process application forms, and administer policies regarding student admission, re-admission, and late registration. Process residency documentation, enter transcripts, and edit forms, reports, memos, and correspondences using word processing programs. Set up and organize files, count and alphabetize records, and log documents received and completed. Enter or edit data to existing database files and serve as a backup for other staff duties as assigned. Work a fluctuating schedule including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Some related experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
- Delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
- Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) within 30 days of employment
- Regular physical attendance
- Ability to reach and grasp objects
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Use of video display terminal
- Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Ability to communicate information orally and in writing
- Ability to receive and understand information through oral and written communication
- Ability to proofread and check documents for accuracy
- Ability to work a fluctuating work schedule
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Ability to work during college closures
- Passing a drug test
- Completing a criminal background investigation
