Job Summary
Host prospective students during evening, overnight, and morning hours at Probasco, sharing dinner and facilitating authentic campus experiences through social activities. Maintain a warm, welcoming demeanor while ensuring guest well-being and adhering to all residence life policies and boundaries. Communicate proactively with Admissions staff and campus partners regarding schedules and concerns, exercising discretion with sensitive student information. Commit to 7 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, with occasional weekend availability as needed. Represent Covenant College's mission with integrity and uphold the core values of service, diligence, and faithfulness throughout the academic year.
Required Qualifications
- Committed to the motto and vision of Covenant College and sharing it with others
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- High emotional intelligence - able to read people and situations and adjust as necessary
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Flexible and adaptable
- Exercise discretion with sensitive information concerning future students
- Maintain availability to host 1-2 nights per week (Monday-Thursday) during the academic term, with occasional weekend availability as needed, and commit to all required Admissions overnight events
- Dress professionally and appropriately for your job
- Attend chapel services at least once per week, on average
