Job Summary
Initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures, administer prescribed medications, and conduct initial assessments to determine home care needs. Perform thorough physical assessments, gather comprehensive medical histories, and develop individualized plans of care based on patient status. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create robust Plans of Care, responsively address inquiries from patients and caregivers, and provide counseling before, during, and after treatment. Supervise home health aides as required. Full-time Monday through Friday schedule in Lawrence, MA, with a salary range of $75,000 to $90,000.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold an active Nursing license in the State where the position is based.
- Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- Maintain current BLS CPR certification.
- Possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferably 2+ years of nursing experience, with a focus on home health and geriatrics.
- Excellent bedside manners and exceptional communication skills.
- Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
