Job Summary
Coordinates and facilitates inpatient rehabilitation admissions, overseeing the patient admission process, coordinating with referral sources and interdisciplinary teams, handling insurance authorization and pre-certification, managing bed availability and discharge planning, and maintaining compliant records. Regularly liaises with patients, families, physicians, and the Rehab team to optimize patient placement, throughput, and outcomes while supporting referral development and marketing efforts. Requires a degree in OT/PT/SLT/ Nursing, Kentucky license, and clinical experience; BLS certification within 90 days and CRRN preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Therapy, or Nursing required
- Current Kentucky RN, PT, OT, or SLT license required
- Two years of related clinical experience required
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire
- Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred
