Job Summary
Admissions Director at MediLodge of Richmond responsible for managing the facility inquiry and admission process, conducting facility tours, and delivering community education to generate referrals. The role emphasizes presenting facility services, maintaining bed availability information, coordinating admission plans, and collaborating with nursing and business-office leadership. Requires engagement with hospital discharge planners, families, and referral sources, with at least 50% of time spent outside the facility on outreach and community education. Education preferred in business/communications; two years of related Long-Term Care admissions or community education experience is desirable. Strong communication, public speaking, organizational, and relationship-building skills are essential. Remote work not indicated; on-site admission activities appear to be the norm.
Required Qualifications
- Associate and/or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two years equivalent experience in the Long-Term Care Industry in lieu of degree
- Two years of experience in a Long-Term Care admissions or community education position. A background in community education is preferred.
