Job Summary
Admissions Director should achieve and maintain census and case mix as per budget, serve as facility primary contact with Admission Liaisons and referral sources, maintain the database of medical contacts, alert department heads of projected changes, maintain knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, assist with managed care referrals, inform families about LTC stay, costs and regulations, ensure timely completion of pre-admission/admission paperwork, and oversee daily census reports and communication with Corporate/Admission Liaisons.
Required Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care environments is preferred
