Admissions Counselor (Middlesex, Essex & Suffolk County Areas) (63037)

Conduct comprehensive screening procedures to determine applicants' eligibility and suitability for Job Corps enrollment, including securing and evaluating behavioral, medical, and educational records. Identify and develop center-beneficial partnerships with community agencies, high schools, and trade schools to inform prospective applicants and maintain referral linkages. Perform center tours, pre-arrival visits, and parent/guardian meetings while ensuring strict confidentiality of sensitive student data. Serve as a liaison between the center and staff to facilitate a seamless enrollment process and early student retention. Deny applicant enrollment when applicable and refer individuals to other educational resources. Accept direction from the Center Director and temporarily perform job responsibilities of other departments as assigned.
